Documents for Opening Deposits for Corporate Customers

  • Documents required from legal entities to open a deposit account in the national or foreign currency 
    • Copy of the certificate of state registration, notarized or certified by the issuing agency. If account is opened for a legal entity financed from the budget, the above document is not required.
    • Copy of the constitutional document (articles of association, constitutional agreement, constitutional act, regulations), notarized or certified by the registration agency, copy of the minutes of meeting on establishment of legal entity, signed and stamped by authorized representative.
    • Copy of the reference on the company’s filing in the Unified State Register of Enterprises and Organizations of Ukraine, notarized or certified by the agency which issued the reference or the bank’s authorized officer.
    • Copy of the document confirming filing of the company or its separate subdivision with the body of the state tax service concerned, notarized or certified by the agency which issued the document or the bank’s authorized officer (form 4-OPP).
    • Duly certified copy of the document on notification of the Occupational Accident and Occupational Disease Insurance Fund of Ukraine about insurance premium payer’s intention to open a deposit account (required if a company or its separate subdivision uses hired labor).
    • Duly certified signature and stamp sample card.
    • Legal entity’s authorized representative is required to provide passport, documents confirming his powers to open a deposit account, and a reference from the state tax service on the assignment of taxpayer identification number.
    The bank’s branch and the legal entity are required to make a written bank deposit agreement.
     
    Documents required from nonresident legal entities to open a deposit account in the national or foreign currency for a foreign representative office: 
    • Copy of the document confirming registration (accreditation) of foreign representative office by (at) the authorized government agency of Ukraine, notarized or certified by the issuing agency.
    • Notarized copy of the legalized or apostilled power of attorney to perform representative functions by a certain person/entity in Ukraine.
    • Notarized copy of the legalized or apostilled abstract from the commercial, banking, or judicial register or registration certificate issued by local authorities of a foreign country, confirming registration of a nonresident legal entity.
    • Duly certified copy of the document on notification of the Occupational Accident and Occupational Disease Insurance Fund of Ukraine about intention to open a deposit account.
    • Copy of the document confirming filing of a foreign representative office with the body of the state tax service concerned, certified by the agency which issued the document, or notarized, or signed by the bank’s authorized officer.
    • Duly certified signature and stamp sample card.
    • Foreign representative office’s authorized representative is required to provide passport, documents confirming his powers to open a deposit account, and a reference from the state tax service on the assignment of taxpayer identification number. 
    The bank’s branch and the foreign representative office are required to make a written bank deposit agreement. 
     
    Documents required from nonresident legal entities to open a deposit account in the national or foreign currency for a nonresident investor: 
    • Notarized copy of the legalized or apostilled abstract from the commercial, banking, or judicial register or registration certificate issued by local authorities of a foreign country, confirming registration of a legal entity. If nonresident investor is a natural person, the above document is not required.
    • Notarized copy of the legalized or apostilled power of attorney issued to the person authorized to open and manage account. If account is opened personally by nonresident investor who is a natural person, the above document is not required.
    • Copy of the document confirming filing of a nonresident investor with the body of the state tax service concerned, certified by the agency which issued the document, or notarized, or signed by the bank’s authorized officer.
    • Nonresident investor’s authorized representative is required to provide passport, documents confirming his powers to open a deposit account, and a reference from the state tax service on the assignment of taxpayer identification number.
    The bank’s branch and the person opening deposit account on behalf of a nonresident investor are required to make a written bank deposit agreement.
